Yeah I'd love to do something like that, it would mostly come down to being able to get some time from the devs to help us create that kind of video, though, as they're very busy. Most of our videos we make without needing their involvement to let them focus on working on the game.

it went so far that she was such a stable part of our com and so loved. when she told us shes movin on from the game. but doesnt want us to simply have to pretend shes simply no longer existant...

we let her die. in canon. and played out a huge burrial ceremony for her as a loving farewell from her and her charakter. 200+ people joined. it was absoluteely amazing

so jeah. even non rp people can share in the experience and the community in their very own ways

I mean, that's my favorite part about MMOs as a concept. Players don't just get a world to play in by themselves, the other players simply EXISTING within the world adds context and content for you even if you aren't directly playing with them. I think a lot of modern MMOs miss out on that concept and that's one of the things that MMO players really love.

Like, do I want to group with randos all the time? Be forced to interact with them? No! But I love that they are there enjoying the game too

The next modern MMO that makes a big splash is going to be one that make players WANT to engage with other people.

It’s the tool you craft at the collector. Can add a weathered/damaged effect to blocks… or alternatively, take it away.

Someone was playing with different blocks using it and found a way to remove the metalic trim on obsidian for a smoother edge and it looked pretty slick

There’s no active public servers as far as I know. Only hosted servers and they can only be accessed if the host is there. Most of them are locked behind a password anyways

Thing is, holding down the axe would it make harder to parry the next blow, especially because you wouldn't want to parry with the blade, it's a hectic situation and that guy clearly looks around in that situation.

i feel like the guy holding the axe is holding it correctly, the perspective is from below so most angles would seem like he is holding it with the blade up, + if you look at his grip, that is how you use a 2 handed axe, if he is going to be doing anything else than vertical slams with the axe then the blade needs to be pointing out, if the blade is up or down then it will be ineffective

Parrying with the blade would mean same blade would go broken. Axes don't have a thick blade, also it's about shifting weight I guess

its either sideways or if u interpret it as up/towards him, the blade would be at a perfect 0 angle, straight at the sky, that's the point of a resting position that he doesn't have to fight against the axe trying to turn towards the ground (gravity pulling down the blade so it creates torque/friction which might/will put a load on his wrists), and if u interpret it as sideways/towards the enemies, its an active combat position, ready to attack and block/parry

i actually used to have a bot active (turned it off) and it was nice, so instead of making a group u would use a bot command to receive a "temporary" role that would give people access to threads so basicly groupchats in a server
