So I showed my friends the cat video the devs shared the other day (the one where you learn how to speak cat) and they all assumed we could use our mics to tame cats in-game.

One of them is very upset after hearing the truth.

Just to point out, cats in the wild don't actually use meows or noises to speak to each other. Only domesticated/captive cats speak so much, to make their human slaves do their bidding. So, you have to tame the kitties first to talk to them. O.O

And like anyone owned by cats know, they ignore you quite a bit if you don't give them the things they want.

You have not met my cat. If she doesn't get what she wants, she will pester you, yell at you and stick her butt in your face until she does.

Also, cat's have a language - it's just one they develop specifically with their slaves underlings ~~worshipers ~~ people. So to my cat "meow-owr" might mean food, while to yours "meh-eh-eh" might.

I have yet to discover Kaylee's words though because she speaks more than both uf us, and uses sentences... She also participates in our conversations. The only words I know for sure are that she refers to the hubby as "Mew-mrow" and me an "meh-mrow-meow" most of the time.

That's what I was saying, wild cats do not do this. Domestic/captive cats do to speak with their humans. All three of my cats use different meows for the same things, so I know they speak different sounds. (although they were all indiferent or angry at the video they put out lol)

Outside had diseases, other animals, tons of just dogs and stuff. Mine are all inside and spoiled kitties. We take care of a feral outside and are currently using a wound spray on a chunk taken out of his neck by some animal, not safe.

My Uncles cat loved me the most of everyone, so everymorning he'd bring me food to have for breakfast. I finally told them to stop letting him in when he dropped a huge spider on my blanket while I was sleeping.
