There's a minigame I play in Skyrim on occasion wherein I refuse to sell any gems, ores, jewelry, or other treasure-esque item and instead drop them each, individually, onto my bed. I win when my computer crashes when it tries to load my home instance. I also have a mod installed that replaces Septims in places where it wouldn't make sense to have them (such as ancient Nordic ruins that predate the Empire) with lore-appropriate coinage, which I also don't sell and instead drop one at a time onto my bed. It also doubles as a hard mode because it turns out you have significantly less spending money when you don't sell treasure. But I AM A DRAGON.

Computers are dumb rocks we shoot electricity through, sometimes things just crash. Holding a crash against a game dev is so silly when it literally could have been an issue with the computer hardware not liking the way they moved the mouse or something. Repeated crashes is something else altogether, but assuming a good game will never crash is ridiculously unrealistic.

I got to that zone first of everyone I know, I'd taken the week off and was getting up really early every day to skip the login queue and playing for like 16 hours straight. Getting to that zone first and being legitimately completely alone at like 3am playing through it was an indescribable experience. I'm also a huge space nerd so I am pretty sure I was in tears for the first ten minutes of being there just because of how it looked. It felt like that zone was made for me. Then the story happened, and well... I still can't listen to Close in the Distance without bawling.

Steam forums has many problems, lack of any updates in over half of decade being just some of them... But I think the main issue it suffers from is that for the vast majority of users that use it, it's not a "community" for them. They stop by to make one thread, either a complaint or question, and then most likely never come back again.

That kinda makes it a problem since it's setup like a traditional forum, where posts are placed at the top due to activity, not popularity. In traditional forums that have a sense of community this was fine, but given that most users there aren't very attached to it, it tends to just mean that the top threads are always just the ones that piss people off the most. More arguing=more replies=the thread gets promoted more. It's a vicious cycle lol
