Most weapons in game will have a lvl 25/legendary (upgradable to lvl 30) version, as mentioned before though, it's RNG from chests and of course, higher area, higher loot.

I actually saw the youtube of that issue so they say, and then i loaded up my game and i use tons of those green blocks just for the dark lighting effect. However, it's still dark and it gets bright at certain peak times of the sun. No difference that i noticed imho.

a good first one to look for is when you need to cross that first broken bridge, theres lore bits that lead you to a chest buried under the bridge. it gives you the exact location too

you can, there is a way to climb up from the shroud root room, its "ornate" which is a type of gold chest that tends to drop more weapons than armor

I've been kicking around almost purely solo. I can only imagine the differenc in pace, or the approach a group would take vs the solo infiltration to certain camps or the hollow halls for that matter. As a solo player I enjoyed the unfolding of the quests and the progression of finding new craftables.

tbh, I had some tough times early to mid-game, but, I found my way through. I was also experimenting with different weapons (or different classes if you will) but I was pushing more for the damage end of things. it's possible to build a bit hybrid, since the skill tree is 'what you want' it to be

Sure if you have the same mats its made out of. Alot of people take over a town and clean it up an repair it. You just need the same mats that thy used. The hard part are the damn vines and weeds... sometimes you have to take the whole thing down and rebuild it so they dont just keep growing back.

This is gonna be anathema to some people, but I haven't built a desktop in 10 years, so I just bought one myself. I am lazy in my old age and did buy prebuilt. From walmart. And was surprised. Ryzen 7 7700X, 4070ti 32gb ram and 2tb NVME.

Asus motherboard and liquid cooled, kingston ram with heatsinks, two intake fans on the front left, two output fans on the bottom and one on the back.

It was 1.5ish.

I agree with you, but only because I'm level 12, and have spent the last 3 levels running for my life and waiting for my buddy to beat things to death or shoot them to death while blinking away after my wand breaks and a run out of mana pots. I didn't have a farm yet either, so now I have to gather all the materials each time I make them because the farming terrain edits immediately give me a vulkan crash. It's probably all balanced up for level 25, but geyowd does it make the game rough on someone who doesn't have all the doots.

I mean, I have done the same thing on a warrior before I knew to bring more than one weapon with me and ran out of healing potions. The act of balancing a game isn't to bring every character up to the point where they can easily stride through all the content - that would not be fun for anyone. Mage was way too OP - My husband was killing bosses well above him in level in 2 shots, which wasn't any fun at all. It's a pendulum process, but if, right now you are having too much difficulty, try another class for a bit and come back to mage when the pendulum comes back.

Most blocks found in pre-generated structures are a "broken" version with mildly alternate textures and models (most visible on wood things that get splinters at the edges)

If you want to explore everything hidden and all stories and buildingblocks it will take some more time. I assume the average player can play 100 hours and still have some things to find. If you combine it with a joy for building things, you can easy spend more than 200 hours in game. And If you are like me and exploring everything and starts building a city and decorate it fully, 300 hours is just the start. ^^

I think I figured it out. I used to live by a scented candle factory. most of the time we'd get whiffs of scented candles and it was nice, but every so often they would do something, cleaning the vats or something, and it would be like someone shoved every scent that existed into this nasty, heavy-scented cloud of gross. It had a physical presence... I think that's what the shroud smells like.

CUB, real question: the map makers are keeping the peaks (even though some now can be completely traversed with no world edge in sight) zoned for no fire-altars. Is there a reason you dont want anyone to have a mountain base?

They are probably no build zones because they are too high. The build area around the map is dome-shaped.
