That's the biggest problem with a fixed, handmade world. After a while it all gets boring

but they will add new things and new quests i'm sure!!!
they just need to have more things to do so that people feel like they're making more progress even as they rewatch old content
such as a difficulty selector for dungeons and bosses that makes the loot scale and difficulty and DPS of the mobs and bosses from E rank all the way up to SSS rank, for example

Put random modifiers on scroll weapons and armor so you can always find something unique to your previous runs

Make sure people playing co-op or multiplay have their own flame altar stack and not a shared stack so everyone in the world can build from day 1

have dungeons and bosses scale with the number of people you do them, also the rewards in the chests, i mean 1 bow for 4 people, Really

All these things are very easy to do without harming the current world and/or the need to add additional buildings and other Mobs or creatures or use extra map space, it's all just plain (programming) and the foundation of the game is already built for a system like this. just adding to the fun

also in the main menu you can put a switch if people would like to play with NPCs Monsters that can raid your base, yes or no

But that is just my 2 cents 😄

Every person has their own preferences for if it should be proc gen or handmade and what content they prefer. Builders just want more blocks/deco while others just want generally new things to do.

What you want only caters to one group tho, flame altar limit has it's reasons (especially for low end cards), enemie difficulty already scale with players (we might get difficulty settings that help with that), chests btw also have a high chance of giving more that one item when you're in a group, so more rng for rng weapons? My ideas regarding this topic.

• Stand your ground: Defeat hordes of enemies without leaving the arena. Failing that requirement results in restart of the Event.
• Defend one: Have two Boss like NPC fight each other and dependant on who you help the Quest would process.
  (For example, If you help the Vukah one, they'll get passive for a time, If you help the scavenger one, they'll offer you aid in battle temporary)
• Crafting quests: Which require you to trade in x amounts of Material
• Escort quests
• Build a Camp/Base at point X for strategic value and fortify it, after one day a Invasion will happen
• Maybe for later, but a Quest which would require you to have water (If it happens not to be just static blocks) to flow into a certain direction as a puzzle.
  Don't hurt me for spilling ideas.

The Early Access (area) right now only contains 25 levels. It will be expanded and upgraded up to level 50 later on.

Discord T&S is extremely bad at stopping spambots so we have to set up a lot of our own stuff to do it instead.

But at the end of the day if you're on this platform you are going to get spambots in your DMs at some point, so it's still important to mention how to not get hacked by them. As a server owner those kind of attacks are borderline invisible to me, unless somebody like Boba reports them, and even then by the time I get those reports they've usually sent thousands of DMs. So users have to take care of themselves most of the time in that case.

Especially on this platform, there's really nothing server owners can do to properly protect you from all spambots. The ones here on our server aren't getting through, but many operate in DMs, and discord does not give us the tools to really deal with those properly. So you guys have to be careful to not fall for their tricks

Adall was probably referring to me, however it isnt really victim shaming. In a discord server this size, you cannot simply say "hey this person hacked my server, kick him please" , that just isnt how it works. The ONLY way to prevent phishing is to just not trust anyone. Simple as that. You kick one person, and 10 more come back. It is unfortunately unavoidable. We send out phishing training mails twice / month in our company, and people just keep falling for it, getting angry at us over it. however it is them who click sketchy links. In our training mails they dont lose anything, but if they click an actual phishing link , they lose everything. The only one they can blame is themselves when that happens imho.

In this case, I would consider it a win that he didnt lose his entire discord server, and that only his discord server got the risk. Take it as a lesson , it could have been a lot worse.

Also , i dont know Boba, and tbh it probably wasnt even Boba who clicked it or he would not have been able to save his server, but still , take the "win" and just learn from it and be a bit more sceptical next time 🙂

Alright everyone, it's finally time to discuss something that has been heavy on my mind recently regarding Enshrouded. I am of course talking about the misnamed skills Snake Eater and Arachnoid.

First and foremost, let me talk about them as they are currently:

• Snake Eater - Increases your poison resistance which reduces the damage received from poison by 20%.

• Arachnoid - Stamina consumption while climbing is reduced by 50%.

On the surface, it would appear that these are appropriately named skills. Some snakes are venomous and eating them could potentially build immunity to toxins in the future. Arachnids have a lot of legs and spiders are good at climbing. I agree on a base level that these make sense. However, on November 17th, 2004, Hideo Kojima and Konami released a game by the name of Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater (MGS3:SE). In this game there is a famous scene in which you as the main character Snake must climb a ladder. This ladder takes forever to climb, and only someone with great stamina could climb such a ladder. This moment spawned many ladder climbing memes across the internet in which long climbing sequences would be accompanied by the main theme music from MGS3:SE.

So given this information, and given the information that many spiders and arachnids such as scorpions also contain venom, I propose a swap to the names of these two skills to better align themselves with meme culture while still maintaining some level of rationality.

Okay, I just had to put down my controller and write down my feelings here. I just feel this game isn’t something normal human beings living in this day and age are capable of producing. It seems like a product that was developed by extraterrestrials as a first contact attempt. I don’t game much, but as a new player playing this game blind and approximately 40 hours in, I am just in complete awe of the game design from top to bottom. I don’t even know where to start or how to phrase this post, but for most people in this discord, you probably know what I mean. I have lost count of the times where my jaw just dropped mouthing “what the fuh…” or my eyes just stared in utter amazement at my screen (this game is just pure dopamine on my 80 inch TV). The landscape designs, enemy designs, lore, NPC voices, names of items, the music, the sound, what have you. Nothing is better than the other. Everything is just top tier and there is clearly no skimping on delivering an almost ethereal experience. On top of this, the game performs incredibly well and there’s basically no loading screens unless you die and respawn. The only negative thing about this game is that I won’t be able to play another, ever, without expecting this level of quality.

That's not the case for why we don't have text chat, personally. It's simply because this game is made on a custom engine and that requires building the feature from the ground up, which takes a fair bit of time. It just hasn't been high enough on our priority list to be prioritized over other stuff we've added yet.

It wasn't specifically on the roadmap, but combat tweaks, adjustments and fixes are definitely going to happen. Honestly, it goes without saying that combat will be worked on continually.

Yeah I know, it's just annoying to me when people pretend as if things are good enough already and then also say that it's early access so be patient
