Depends upon which biome you want a surrounding background for, also it's best to be close to useful resources.
Many build bases very high up in the sky and use as jump pads to glide to places that you can't reach from the ancient spires.

Is anyone having an issue with the very first hollow halls quest ( the Collector is the reward) not progressing? I have finished all the dungeons and did get the Collector from the first one . I may have done that first dungeon on someone else’s world, then came back to mine and did it.

The issue is that the quest objective is in the room BEFORE the treasure and the teleporter and its a weird golden glimmer that blends in too easily - you walked right past it looking into the next room at the giant glowing sarcophagus and teleporter.

Hey, apologies for asking out of the blue but I wanted to ask whether the 'Eternal Heal Chain' spell has been nerfed ? I used to make double the healing and idk what happened. I kinda "exist" awkwardly and miserably heal everyone now xD

Although chasing maximum intelligence or dexterity stats may not be the best choice as it can make you squishy if not grabbing some of the stuff in the tank tree.

I died 9 times trying to get that when I was level 8. Finally got it the 10th time. I got lucky, I was able to kill the 1st vulture bird by tricking it into the electricity zapper on the lower level, then killed the 2nd with bombs, the 3rd at the top ran off to attack a player down on the outside on stairs of the front entrance which gave me just enough time to run up and grab the glider.

Then they nerfed my RNG because I was getting 4-5 every 6-8 hours of play time, so 1 is a big change.

You can actually reach that Sun temple with a regular glider and never upgrading the flame alter at all. I watched a video of a guy that took a level 2 character and ran most of the way there and got it.

You can avoid them if you know where not to go. The tricky parts are getting around the deadly shroud because of lack of flame alter strength and the 3 vulture birds protecting the sun temple.

It's a crypt looks like just a random one with chests in it. Was kinda cool though it was hidden under a big sand drift

8 of my 9 deaths that were in that sun temple were from those birds, 1 was from the green zombie trying to loot the coffin in the lowest area.

Another one that held my interest was Salt 2 Shores of Gold. If you can get past the somewhat cartoonish look of it. It's great fun to be able to decorate your ships and sail to different islands

Unfortunately there is a bug right now that can mess with some quests if they were already completed on a different world. The only way to progress them is to use a new character in that world to do it. Unfortunately in this case, unless you are on the first part of that quest (where it tells you to go to the location), it would mean running the dungeon with a new character.

Yeah, taking a new character to that location will progress the quest. unfortunately I don't know if the next phase of that specific quest will progress with your main or not.

It's a bug, so it's already unexpected behaviour, so honestly - I couldn't tell you if it will happen or not.

To test this out I went in without stuff nor any skillpoints used. Tried this on both the training dummies at the start of the game and on the scavenger matron at Ocean's Heart. Basically using a poisoned iron arrow was doing ~20% more damage than using a regular iron arrow.

I like the HH's but play solo, so it takes a bit of time to complete them.
However, I was working my way through the Kindlewastes Hall, and got about two thirds of the way in when I came up against a barrier where I had to kill the mobs there to unlock it, in the process of which I died.
So I started again from the checkpoint, but when I got there I discovered one of the required mobs was beneath the floor with just the barrier symbol visible. This meant that all I could do would be to restart the dungeon from the beginning again, which has kind of killed it for me
My question is, are you guys aware of this happening to others before?

My advise would be that make loads of explosive arrows (if you can), and lots of potions. Make plenty of Summoning skull vessels, too. Proceed with care and patience in HHs. I'm also an archer. So is @surreal perch Maybe they have advises too.

I had everything at max, my resolution is 3440x1440, my frame rate was higher than 60, and smooth.

After checking Nvidia, I guess they had an update this week, so I updated. Then I let Nvidia decide on the settings, went back in, reset everything back to Max, and relogged, and now it's working fine.

Framerate is around 100+ at this point.

Yeah, always check your driver. Mine was reset to the version windows 11 is shipped with yesterday and today. Two whole updates two days in a row. I am on insider so i get updates quite often too but these two were not insider builds.
