The actual limit of what the eye can see hasn't scientifically been determined down to a fine point, there's still plenty of debate on the subject BUT what they can all agree on, is over 100 is highly unlikely to actually notice any difference at all. and its an exponential curve of difference above 60.

There are some issues with blurring when a ton of frames are being pushed out but a monitor can only see so many frames (Hz limitation), since some of that fluid motion is being limited artificially and so we are seeing more the jumps between frames

I spend a lot of time looking at studies, in general, any study with anything less than 200 participants is not likely to be very accurate - this one had 64. You can usually get a "general idea" from small studies like this that could jumpstart a larger one that will be accurate. It's enough to base a hypothesis off of, but not really definitive.

I don't know anything about this study tbh, but there's 100% a truth to this concept. Going from 30-60fps has an absolutely massive impact on the feel of a fast paced mechanical game with a shooter, and the jump from 60-120 is impactful, but not nearly as much. This effect gets more and more diminished with each doubling. For most normal players this difference is fairly minimal at everything above 60 (other than feel), but if you look at professional esports players you'll find pretty much all of them are playing on 144+hz monitors these days.

It's not really subjective it's about saving MS of delay, which is very important in games with high reaction times. going from 60-144 is usually about 1-10ms of delay. Doesn't sound like a lot but for pro players when a lot of things are being decided by <300ms decisions it does matter.

That said 99.9% of people are not pro players, so it's mostly just a nice bonus and not at all a requirement to enjoy games lol

Mining is long and tedious but it's much better with the two mining skills and with better quality pick axes. Also depends on what you are mining. Salt is easy clay a little hard, copper and flintstone even harder and tin even harder
