I was invited to join the new Lens+ for Creators program.
I joined the new Lens+ for Creators program.
I attended the meeting for the new Lens+ for Creators program.
I created a few new Lenses.
I submitted the new lenses to new Lens+ for Creators program using the Google Docs online form.
I waited about a week.

So far nothing.

Questions:

  1. Will I receive a messages telling me if the new lens has been accepted or rejected into the Len+ for Creators program?

  2. Can the new lens be included in the usual Lens Creator Rewards Program as well as the Lens+ for Creators program?

  3. Will I see similar insights, in the same location, like the Lens Creator Rewards Insights, but for the new Lens+ for Creators program?

  4. Will I need the same 15,000 Qualified Posters to earn crystals in the Lens+ for Creators program?

  5. Same 90 Eligibility Period?

  6. Clearly there won't be as many Snapchatters enrolled in the subscription-based Len+ program as the general public using Snapchat for free. Can I hope to get enough Qualified Posters from the smaller number of Len+ users?

To participate in the Lens+ for Creators program, when publishing a new lens, should I set the visibility to 'Hidden'? And refrain from enrolling the new lens in the usual Lens Creator Rewards program?

When publishing, during the last step, I now see this option:

Monetization
Lens+ Pilot program
When enrolled, your Lens may be made periodically available only to Lens+ and Snapchat Platinum subscribers.

I can choose one of two options:

  1. Enroll in the regular Lens Creator Rewards Program.
  2. Enroll in the Lens+ Creator Rewards Program.

I enrolled in the Lens+ Creator Rewards Program when publishing, but after processing and review, I see that I am not Lens+ Creator Rewards Program. I am enrolled in the regular Lens Creator Rewards Program. Perhaps enrolment in the Lens+ Creator Rewards Program comes later? After more review of the lens?

I understand that Lens+ Creator Rewards Program is just being rolled out now. I am seeing the rollout from the user's point of view. So far it's been a bit confusing, but seems to be coming together quite quickly. Well done developers!

During my testing of the Lens+ for Creators program, I've created several new lenses, published them, and enrolled them into the Len+ monetization program. The new lenses seem to get processed and reviewed normally, however the enrolment into the Lens+ monetization program seems to be taking a few days - so far - none have been approved yet.

Meanwhile, a trickle of views are happening... Lens+ subscribers?

Yes. I received email with invitation to join Lens+ for Creators. I attended a video meeting to learn about the new program. I published several lenses to the new program. Now I wait for a week for enrollment acceptance. It is a new program so there are delays. I am sure the developers are working very hard on the new program.

I am not seeing the usual monetization insights for enrollment in the Lens+ pilot program. Am I looking in the wrong place?

I brought a similar topic up at the Len+ for Creators video meeting: why not have a webpage that displays all of the monetization insights in one place? - rather than having to open every single Lens Details page to view the monetization insights individually. This is available in the TikTok rewards program.

Lens+ for Creators pilot program update:

The lenses I successfully enrolled in the Lens+ program have gained a significant about of views, shares and posts....

However, no insights are available... are some of my Lens+ lenses earning money? There's no way of knowing, at this time, as far as I know.

Are lenses enrolled in the Lens+ program required to achieve 15,000 qualified posts before the money starts rolling in? Same as the regular lens monetization requirements?
