Hello, I want to make a lens in which the user can choose between two options. The data from the options should be sent to a database and the lens should be able to retrieve the data. Is it possible to connect a Snapchat lens with a custom database to manage this data exchange, and if so, how can it be implemented?

It is not possible within the snapchat app. You'd have to use camera kit in your own app for anything like that

I see that option too but that api thing is added to people with camera kit access and I think thats the only one that gets approved. It may have changed but I don't see any announcements saying they are allowing the custom api's in the snapchat app yet

You can always use the database from leaderboards api have specific intervals for things, the leaderboard doesn't have to be displayed use JS or TS and combine some ui assets with an text ID
