You have to use the full body mesh and attach the objects to it

If the goal is just how to attach squirrelss to the shoulder I don't think you'll need any script for that

You can add 3d body tracking, set the mode to attachment then attach things to the shoulders that way like this:

I suggest attaching empty objects directly, then putting your actual object under those empty objects so that you can fine tune the size and position of your visible object. Just like I did in the screenshot
