I know others have this issue but curious if anyones found a solid solution.

I'm on windows.

Deleting temp and cache folders seems to work on occasion but sometimes, like right now, I've done all that and restarted my whole machine to no avail lol

I was going to suggest everything you already tried 🫠 Is it Lens Studio not opening at all or the lens not opening again?

do you have access to OSX? i know when ive had problems with mac, bootcamp windows was a lifesaver. not sure if the reverse is possible

Do you have anything else running when you try opening it? Instability for me seems to increase if I have something else running that is graphics related

nope especially after the restart it's just that

I have 100% replicated what caused the crash now but this one doesn't stop it from opening, maybe due to file size difference in my test vs the og. But progress at least...scarily easy. Just setting a base tex to an array and refreshing the preview crashes it 100% of the time lol. Sent out the steps and example project to support.

Hi @dense musk
it might just be VERY VERY slow. We're working on a complex project right now and when LS crashes, it can take 6-8 minutes to start up the next time. That is not including project loading time. It does something when restarted after every crash, and the more complex the project, the longer it sometimes can take.
I use task-manager to check if it's running when it takes more than 30 seconds. If it is, I go get a fresh coffee while it slowly (and with very low CPU/GPU usage) works it out internally.

I have faced this issue as well. When I checked the wait chain it said it's waiting for network IO so for me most of the times disconnecting internet has worked to fix it.
