#Open project error

Same, just had a crash working on RT and I guess after trying to re-open the backup it just messed the whole thing up... good reminder to get GIT set up again. (personal project so wasn't really thinking of that)
Ah seems that it was trying to open up a 4.43 file in 4.32 🤷♂️ so hopefully for you it's also a version mismatch
I was hoping not, my project was created in 4.10 and I was trying to open it in newer version got the first error and when tried to open it with the same exact version got the second error for the disk space.
Ouch, sounds like the new version nuked it.. Maybe there is a backup version floating around there?
I'm sure you 100% know about this but just as a reminder (tho I heard that newer version save the backup somewhere else when in Version Control mode?) https://support.lensstudio.snapchat.com/hc/en-us/articles/360033793351-How-do-I-recover-my-project-files-
That's weird I can't find the Snap file there..

I think the backups are saved in the same project folder now instead of separately like it was before which makes the folders so huge
So maybe there is a backup in the project folder itself
I searched the word "autosave" and almost all the Lens Studio projects show up
Yes it's saved in the project file right
Except the one you need? 😅
No the one I need it's there let me check it
Fingers crossed!
it's the most complicated project I ever created it's like timing every second
now trying to open it with the same verison
and I still get this error
Where's the backup I don't think i get it
for me they are in the C:\Users<USER>\AppData\Roaming\Snap\Lens Studio\Autosaves\ folder
Hm that sucks, and some versions in between? Like 4.19?
