instead of using simple chambers add a railgun recoil dampening barrels where the railgun needs to recharge after every shot and also let us pick up shells that are fuzed and have magnetic sleds so we can possibly autoload it and you can have one recoil dampener or more but for the chamber you can now use a special breech for the railgun that if the specialized breech detects a railgun breech the mount gets storage for railgun shells (dampeners go after the breech) depending on the length of the railgun you would need more dampeners (max is 3) the dampeners also prevent structural intergerity loss that goes down if you fire it too fast you can also add watercooling where if you wrench a attached mount extension it gets a water input but watercooling is so the railgun can actually work but now water has temperature and you must cool water and also output used water to then be recooled

basically you now need watercooling and recoil dampeners to make your railgun work and you can also carry shells with magnetic sleds on them

it didn't fire
despite assembling
when i took the shell out
the sled just didnt exist

Pretty much all energy weapons do experience heat problems
So Ill look into it
also i want the shells to be picked up with a sled is so we can autoload them and not make such a complex system
coilguns dont need watercooling but you add watercooling by wrenching a mount extension for a pipe input
nope theyll all need it
or if water isnt available for your coilgun you can add a fan for air cooling
