  • Normal zombies are much harder to knock over, and they will actually get up if they do fall
  • Zombies have insane healing abilities, allowing regenerating lost limbs if not killed within a minute or so
  • To make it so you can actually lose to zombies at higher tiers, much stronger boss giant zombies will also appear. They will try to grab, throw or kick the player and tear/bite limbs off even with armor on if not fought off

The healing zombies is certainly interesting. This a case where targeting the head is a must or could you just chop them up enough to kill them?

If this is about them being pushovers, they could just make it where you fight more at a time. Whole point of zombies is that they are extremely dangerous in high numbers.

For the Giga zombie, I like the tearing ability but why not throw that onto every zombie? Course the normal zombie couldn’t do it as easily as the big chunky boys

I guess tearing limbs off for normal zombies makes sense considering the walking dead, but ig they wouldn’t be able to tear armored limbs or actually just chomp entire limbs off in 1 bite

My concern with the higher zombie count that it could become impossible to actually win, as you’ll never get the chance to finish one zombie off while others are attacking you (even in the current game if you manage to get too many zombies on you)

About healing, yeah basically only the head will kill them. So just cutting them in half wont kill the zombies

I like the idea that the normal zombies can’t tear off armored limbs. Really makes a difference between beggar rank and one with armor. For the bites, I was thinking removing chunks from the affected area. From what I saw, it sort of just makes the spot bloody. I wanna see some actual damage.

Maybe the number of undead could increase based on your rank? Beggar wouldn’t have a chance against 2-3 bozos but once you get higher level gear and armor, then maybe increase the numbers?

I mean also the point of the Abyss is that it is hard. Make us fight for another chance for with our character. This would also make paying them off all the more valuable since it’d be literal hell to fight off enough or even a few.

true, the bites do need an actual animation like your suggestion (and actual mouth movement). The big ones in my suggestion if added would also visually eat off the limbs, better gore for all.

Speaking of 2-3 zombies, that's fine and easy. But I was thinking about 6+ zombies, which would be impossible at any tier (as time to down and kill 1 armored zombie wouldn't be enough before others start attacking you)
