If you go into craft weapon and test your weapon you can just go exit to menu and your character will have the weapon for completely free

you have to actually have the weapon in your hands when you exit to menu

So go into the weapon crafter make your weapon the click test, then pick up the weapon and return to menu it should be in yiur hands if you click inventory
