I've been unofficially "playtesting" this game since December 24th in 2024, and I could say that I enjoyed the play test, and then, I moved on to the Demo, which I both have about 150 hours combined. I waited for a release for SUCH a long time, and, I couldn't wait for a release. Please, and I mean it, if you have any thoughts on it, please drop them here. I look forward to buying it, but I find myself rather underequipped (no GPU and a ryzen7 5700U) but the demo ran 80 FPS easily. Please, leave any reviews that I could use in my decision making🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻Williesmile

Very few major issues, which for day one of EA is super impressive for any game

Usual EA jank that just comes from prioritizing core aspects of the game over things like stopping you from walking out of the arena into the sunset after a fight, but again, it's EA and that's fully expected

Personally im really enjoying it so far after a couple hours of playtime with around 40-60 fps at 1920x1080 and graphics settings at high and medium (rtx 3060 ti and 13th gen i5), but if you have NO gpu at all then i would not recommend at the moment

There's a lot of valid criticism with the UI, Sluggish gameplay, optimization and some seemingly developed afterthoughts but the game is definitely okay - but for now the optimization is a huge turn off. Try it out and if you dont like it, Steam has a pretty good refund support.

yea honestly hal makes a good point, if you're financially comfortable then you may as well buy and try it and then just refund if its unplayable for you

Well, I don't want my money stuck in steam honestly, they haven't been on some good terms (almost banned my credit card) and also because there's really nothing I could do with 20 euro on steam. I just want to know if it's worth buying

If you need a definitive answer, along with accounting your specific problem, I'd say it's not worth the money right now

I think a lot of the criticism is overreactions but I trust that you knoe that this game is in Early Access - that already is sometimes a big warning about how it'll perform. ☝🏼😤

the demo goes hard, just has some glaring issues , freeplay is lackluster , slums has whatever performance, swinging feels chunkier in the bad way, and alt stabbing is utterly broken with shortswords and messers

i have a 4050 laptop gpu, it runs for 45-120 fps on medium (dependent on the map)

biggest gripe is that I cannot pick maps on freeplay and cannot fully pick my weapons and get soldiers

No, it's not that bad. The abyss is awesome and it's mechanics. Every issue people have is fixable, that's why they call it early access

also the free mode isnt very finished or "free" yet
