Of so the leather edges on the maille shirt are fantastical
Also said maille shirt should be worn UNDER his incredibly ornate jupon (imagine getting dirty grease all over tha fabric...)
finally the maille standard/gorget (the collar) might me too big and it was also worn under the armor (unlike an aventail)
