I can't help but be a little disappointed by the weapons. There's not quite enough variety in weapon type. There's no rapier, greatsword, dueling shields. Scutum or metal heater shield.

These are examples of story based games. Realism can be a good tool for a lot of reasons and a lot of ways. But Red Dead would suck if you died from a singular wound getting infected. Never heard of hell let loose or holdfast.

really heavy on the pommel and really long and heavy blade one works well

its all fucked up without half sword but with half sword its relatively balanced and its so long you can cut down opponents and it works decently against armored guys

yeah against armoured guys heavy stuff is for the best

light stuff wont really knock them out

really long swords can get heavy and can work too

but harder to handle

you can make dedicated half sword balanced builds for it

with swords you can pull a nice trick where you put a sword over their head and on the back of their neck for thekill

so thats a plus

SO to make it: Design a normal Messer like usual (Max Length), but dont buy it. Then, go into the sword menu and make an exceptionally long sword. Go back to the Messer and buy it without touching the stats (You can change the blade and grip, but dont touch the sliders
