No, they use different unreal engine versions, so pak mods will crash the game, and the game uses a different file for saves now, so custom loadouts using the loadout selector simply wont work.

The schemas are in a different part of the same file, you just have to copy and paste them like you did for these, and make sure they are named correctly. There are schemas for hair color and stuff for player 2 I’m pretty sure, so you can copy those and rename it to player 1. (Or if player two doesn’t have one then from the progression player, but you just gotta name it with the same conventions as the player 1 schemas)

The asset must first be loaded for UE4SS to see its class in memory. The "summon" command in UE4SS is supposed to do that even if the asset is unloaded, though, so not sure what exactly is wrong there

and scroll to the very bottom and select this one

then reinstall ue4ss to your win64 folder inside halfsword and run the game

that's going to be a pain in the ass, you'll have to make dummy material replacements rather than just swapping a texture if you only want it to apply to certain pieces. I think it's technically doable, but I've been trying to make the baron's cuirass blue for like a week at this point with no real success.

every armour piece has an assigned material, and the material handles texturing, normal maps, specular, etc. These materials pull from a small pool of existing textures, so making something like my blackened armour replacer was relatively simple since I just replaced the base steel texture with the blackened steel texture. If I only wanted to make some pieces black, I would've had to make custom materials for each armour piece rather than just doing a texture swap

I outright gave up with it and got rid of the files I was working on because I was making no progress. I do want to figure it out at some point, so I'll try again at some point this week and ping you if I make any breakthroughs

have you worked with unreal engine before? I think it'll probably be a lot easier if you have experience, modding this game is the first time I've touched ue5

im probably just about as inexperienced as you are with ue5 but i managed to make a pak that converts a few armours from steel to bronze

not specific ones just a general texture replacement
