Boss Life Mod for Gauntlet lets you play as the Boss, against the Boss, in Gauntlet Mode, points and all. Abilities Fractions can be chosen normally. Body height can be randomized and chosen. No giant height sorry. If you survive Abysee second chance, you will get your Boss gear back.

I dont think so, even if it did, just reload the same file you downloaded
height can be chosen
initially i saved it after getting the tallest height, but it seems to be managed different from this file
and height gets reset to average each time
ill see if it makes the loadouts available
so I save it at the stage where nothing is done yet, so that users can self select heights
height can be changed and the guts stuff is unaffected
thus I am not sure if Baron Rank Opened and Ranks Unlocked, will affect the ability to choose heights, which is my first concern, as the Boss Life mod, we want the tallest bodies, not shorties inside

maybe needs an 8, it is currently at 7 iirc
could be that 7 means all the 7 normal tiers we fight, and there is no 6 or lower, its either 7 or 8, possiblity, I mgiht be wrong

Initially when demo version first released
Each tier of free mode needs to be unlocked via the gauntlet mode
Then lotsa complaining happened
The devs then opened up all tiers till the knight
7 is actually knight in gauntlet as they used 0 for beggars
This could be why

So it’s odd that normally it’s either 1 or 0, yes or not, true or false, but in this case it becomes 7 or 8

I've asked the same question before. I know a lot of people use tubo mouse tracker, but that only shows up as an in overlay in your recordings/streams, not for yourself in-game

To anyone interested, I'm optimistic that soon-ish I'll be able to share the means to mod custom models, textures, audio files, etc into halfsword.
There may be some issues I might have to sort out even though I basically have got it all figured out. One of the things I did in particular is something I'm a bit iffy about sharing publicly so I might have to ask someone about it.
UE4SS does not seem to be able to import blueprint mods on UE >5.2, so if there is a fix that would be great

Not really, it's waaay less complicated than doing it for skyrim so it'll be fine
I was under the impression that people weren't able to replace models yet.
The clean way is to load assets from new, smaller paks
which is trivial for older UE versions, with several tools able to do that out of the box
But for UE 5.4 the usual way isn't working anymore (https://github.com/UE4SS-RE/RE-UE4SS/issues/690 and so on, regardless of how you prepare the project, even if you encrypt it with the same key as the main thing, etc., etc.)

The only way I haven't tried yet is the _P patch pak name suffix for UE to load the pak itself, but I don't recall if UE5 even has that or not (it was a thing in UE4 for sure)
Well, okay, one more thing which I haven't tried is actually manually calling the UE APIs for pak management, the ones which the devs use to support incremental asset updates normally

Use that to spawn in ur preferred items. Once ur done save using enhancer and then again using ovrdth

Aswell as other stuff, saw you were looking for a mapping filr
Make the pommel module the guard link and then the guard module the pommel link. Use a negative z value to stretch the blade from its normal position, through the grip and out of the normal pommel location

If you are still having trouble, click on the tier you want (has to be free mode), then go to ovrdths, double click your loadout (it will make a windows noise), then press play and choose your fight, and it will work
You can also do it mid match, as in after you win, just double click the load out you want, hold g and go to next match and it will load the new loadout
For the save loadout function, it will do so on whatever loadout you are currently using, so just find one you like, press save loadout, name it, and done

Vicious Weapon Packs just reached 1 month anniversary! Thank you everyone! It feels like a long time even if it’s just a month. A new O-Katana Nodachi sword is released today for this mark, and it’s the results of feedback from users of the previous Katana from Pack 2. All the mini packs are now also reconsolidated into Pack 3 for neatness and many weapons have been retuned and updated.

Its for an application called Fmodel, you put it somewhere on your computer and then reference it here in the settings.
Fmodel uses this file to correctly extract assets from the game.

Oh nevermind about the prefix thing, i had it set to the wrong version of unreal engine.
I had it set to unreal5_5 which only allowed me to extract skeletal meshes, after I changed it to 5_4 it works with seemingly any model.

No it's because it basically gives you access to to everything about the game.
I've figured out an alternative to the mapping file which the developers shouldn't have a problem with.
I didn't even download the reupload
I'll try to sort something out for you.
I've been asked not to share it, since it has concerns related to it.
Instead of giving people the means to pull the game apart I can compile a package of the essentials needed for modding the game in a less potentially invasive manner.
I'll probably have to check with a developer or something to see what they're comfortable with me including.
At the very least I imagine they'll be cool with me including the necessary things.
Unreal engine is built to allow modding of games without the need to disassemble the base game pak file. It should read additional pak files after the fact and overwrite assets accordingly, so long as the file structure and names of everything are correct.
The main thing is providing foundational stuff to allow people to make new assets that actually work in game. For this they'll need access to things like the skeleton rig for the character and other other things required for the modded asset to behave correctly in place of the original.
deleting the head component would remove the entire thing though, right? not sure what you mean by this.
either way i figured it out a few days ago and i could do it by simply setting both sub modules to the same part

if you dont need the center spike, you can just use the sub head part standalone

Yes there is a color value for it
Scroll down past the module vectors you will see RGBs for materialtypes, the first one is for materialtype 2 which is the grip

There is probably the same thing for that just a different material value, I admittedly haven’t tried it on a wood haft but it should be the exact same
ive tried setting all the material colour values i could find to 0 and sadly it seems to have absolutely no effect, am i changing the wrong values or is wood simply not colourable?
im trying to blend 2 different shafts together by making them the same colour but its proving to be pretty difficult

so you aren't trying to get any crazy colors, just make both match in color? that is doable by matching the material value affecting the top shaft with that of the bottom shaft. Currently top shaft is using material 3? and bottom is material 10? I think. Depending on how you are achieving the second shaft, will change which specific material value you need to change
those two material types are the only way I've currently been able to change the wood's color without using external means like a pommel or guard
one shaft is a grip and the other takes up the head module

both layers should either be 10 or 3 depending on which color of wood you want, both materialtypes (keys) should be 3
10 is the darker one I think
the top number of both sets is the key, which sets material type, then the bottom number of each set is the layer (either wood or dark wood in this case)

Dunno it doesn't seem like the head module wood colors are the same as the shaft colors in any values

Thought I had a lead but it did not work, though I have found out how to make pitch black weapons now
the hafts are just really hard to color because they only have a few wood colors (that range from a light orangish to dark orangish), and do not respond at all to the rgb values (what are they even for then???)

I wonder, if you nullify the grip mesh and instead extend a pommel module (using the shaft mesh like you have with the head), would it work? both head and pommel modules work on the same material type key so they would be the same wood
nullifying the grip mesh would make it invisible while keeping the module itself
though the balance could be an issue
sadly i dont think you can resize shafts, from my attempts they just dont respond to the changing of any x, y or z value, and when i tried removing the grip mesh entirely it just defaulted to the mesh of the grip module

wooden shafts are just really weird, they dont behave like any other modular part so theyre a pain to work with 😔
I think extending the pommel like that anyways wouldnt be so good, because it would probs make it heavy
you could basically "sheathe" it over the grip mesh, so its very slightly over top so as not to see the underneath shaft, but it would be unwieldy I think

ive been using mace grips for the wooden shafts and to my knowledge no matter what module they take up their size cant be altered, its pretty weird

The only other thing would be to do what bitter did and use pommels as colored shafts
most likely one of those situations where your hand placement bugs out a bit, like when you half sword but your sword is vertical and behind you

It works fine for me. Sometimes it takes a while for our own senses to calibrate to the weapon
Like I can play a weapon for 1 hour and adapted to it, then I changed to another modded weapon it feels way too different and “off”, but after 15 mins it feels right again

my favourite weapons are maces, polearms and swords, not too fond of how quick you can kill with swords but it's still fire
