I have been involved in indie game development since 2007. I have been forged in the fires of exercises in futility.

I don't take things personally this is a major factor. I am also in the autism spectrum, so anything coming from an emotional argument does not register I just look at the data underlying the emotions.

Often times the issue is people just not knowing what has been said from development vs what is community sentiment developed off of speculation without evidence. If I can help alleviate that with information I do so. Often this turns people around.

Some individuals want to be upset for the sake of being upset. There are allot of younger gamers that have fallen into the false narrative that angry mob mentality is how you get results from game developers. These types of complaints are pretty easy to spot and just as easily not engaged with.

We have allot of really great community members across the platforms that understand EA development what our plans are and the size of the team and how that effects the scope of everything. These are the people I focus on.

All that being said I was never sane to begin with. So being locked in with the crazies makes me feel at home.
