I personally think making your own pollaxe is better, with the weird "Bec De Faucon" as the front-facing part of the pollaxe and then the hammer on the back. It consistently knocks out enemies in one hit, but with the baron weapon, I could only ever knock them out in one hit if I hit them with the guard instead of the actual weapon.
