I feel important to preface that I had been listening to allot of podcasts about paranormal stuff, specifically about souls and their interconnection with water ways.

I was working as a pool cleaner. One of my clients was an elder couple. Well off, waterfront property. The husband was always a stickler wanted to be sure they were always getting their moneys worth of service (fair), but he had an aggressive nature about it. A zero bullshit kind of man.

I was doing my normal routine cleaning the pool. At the same time the landscapers were blowing yard debris around, being very careful to not to blow it my way. So we are in close proximity and I was keeping awareness of them. As I am thinking to myself man I'm gonna shortcut it today do a deep clean next week I feel a yank on the back end of my pool brush. I immediately thought I had swung the extended brush pole into one of the landscapers and immediately turned around and said "sorry, my bad-" All three of the guys were meters away already.

I was totally tripped out by it, but moved on. As I was finishing up, the old lady came out onto her balcony (overlooked the pool and waterfront). She very calmly said that her husband had just passed (like the night before) and that for the coming weeks it would be helpful to park on the side street. My heart sank and the hairs on the back of my neck raised. It was a weird rush of feelings.

It was not until the drive back to the shop it dawned on me what I feel I just experienced was. When I got back to the shop I told my boss and he was stunned, he had just gotten a service call from the husband the day before. He was being stern about having things done for his wife, we looked at eachother and it clicked. He knew he was on his final hours and he was laying down the ground rules.
