It's alright tbh, I realised after he died that I vastly over estimated how long corn snakes live for generally. Kind of a relief in a sense because now I'm no longer directly responsible for another being.

Thought they lived for significantly longer than the actual record lifespan which stressed me out

I was always worrying it I was doing something wrong, like not preparing the food correctly and stuff, thought it might have been my fault he passed afterwards but turns out I've had him for most of a cornsnakes expected lifespan and the previous owner had him even longer I had.
