real shit, what i think is the most probable scenario is that the devs are trying to finally add the full gore system, but managing to optimize it is likely a very slow lengthy process

like i cant imagine trying to completely overhaul the entire gore and blood physics, dynamic dismemberment, add 100% accurate individual organs, bones, arteries, eyes, brain, etc, all with variable destruction, and make all that run at the same load as it does currently is no small feat for any team
