idk who needs to know this but i discovered that if your dude is doing the shit where he wont lift his left arm over his head with a polearm/poleaxe, to fix it you can go into half sword mode and lift both of your hands all the way over your head. then when you go back to holding it the normal way, he will lift the poleaxe with his left arm normally again.

This is a pretty majorly ambitious project in terms of trying to optimize it, there’s a reason why essentially nobody has tried to make similar format games, TABC being one of the few examples and it’s very basic graphics-wise for a reason
I wouldn’t say the community manager lied but moreso I’m imagining it’s an actual nightmare for a small team of devs to try and make this intense of a game optimized towards low-mid tier units

and the optimization updates did help, quite a lot

I think there is a place between being a shill, and being a hater. Most of us here are in the middle. Some of us are not satisfied with the pace of communication, and are not happy with the current state of the game, but we also understand what to expect from an EA release, and that at times communication is lite during the EA phase.

the combat system in EA dampers spinning by a lot, but i started using higher and higher sens during the demo just so I could flick kick faster
kicking/spinning fast was nice but made regular combat difficult to adjust to, but eventually i got used to it and now i'm playing at the current DPI/sensitivity that i'm at rn
