the pointy one could be helpful in a close-quarters situation where you're swinging overheads, where extreme close proximity is preventing a good swing yet an adequete pommel strike
but the goal for hafted is basically max weight with the most balance at the end of the head

And really what do you lose when you lose a fight? Some pride right. Maybe some pfennings, at worst a specific name and weight willie. Really you aren't losing shit when the game fucks you over.
Fatal errors can be reduced heavily by changing back to dx11 and keeping blood levels low on the slider, not that bad of an issue.
Over swinging from floppy wrists can be controlled by pressing rmb at the point of impact like my video shows.

Sadly thats a 3rd party issue, they couldn't make it the way they wanted it and needed to outsource for better blood, it conflicts with their own systems and causes crashes.
You can bet they'll iron that one out sooner or later.

I think the weapon weight system might have contributed to the ''wobbly wrist'' thing, some weapons are deceptively heavy and there is not real way to know due to it partially being random and the fact that you can't inspect weapon weight unless you have crafted it yourself

I don't think it is that straight forward. Otherwise strength wouldn't change how your character balances all together, and would only affect how you swing or grab. But changing the strength and height has an affect on different parts of the character model
