i have some findings on muscle gains ingame, and i'll summarize them here:

• made a new character, 63kg
• equipped very heavy equipment
• went into a sparring match, wasted a ton of stamina, finished the match, 64kg
• went back into sparring and finished about 8 matches without stamina waste, still 64kg
• sparred again with an even heavier pollax than the first, wasted a ton of stamina again, 65kg

what this seems to suggest:

• muscle gain is very likely tied to stamina burn and not something else arbitrary
• sparring does contribute to muscle gain
• 1kg seems to be the maximum gains per match, as heavier equipment and more stamina wasting made little difference. this applies even though early gains are much more rapid

in case anyone was wondering, i'm doing this to try and figure out how to optimize muscle gain for late game (93kg+).

i was using the default epp driver which seems to default to powersave mode for everything

the only solution i can find is disabling it entirely and using the default cpu governor that intel cpus use
