Your weapon goes wherever it’s aiming when you thrust. If you do it slowly, for example, and line up your thrust carefully, you’ll see it follows the exact direction the tip is pointing. The issue being, controlling the point to be in the exact direction you need it, is nearly impossible to do mid fight so it just goes elsewhere, but still where you are pointing

Right now its running 300 billion at the top of the line models, but give it time and we will be running 5 trillion parameter models which will hallucinate a hell of a lot less
