it's unknown atm. For at least the first 30 days it's 93kg if you're at max stature, but as the days go by you eventually keep gaining weight slowly

it doesn't. That lower weight is your "shadow weight" as it's been termed by the community. It's not clear what that means either, but it only appears like after you finish a battle and check your inventory. If you back out and check again, it will be at your actual kg

you'll want a weight balanced weapon , both handle and head

heavy head means it will be harder to control the momentum , heavy handle means it will be harder to swing and be more prone to dropping the weapon

they are realistic. That's why they have the balancing stick when forging so you can tell where the PoB is. If you check out real life examples of properly weighted weapons, swords for instance, and you try to forge a sword to meet that criteria it should be a lot smoother in battle for you. It is for me anyway.

nah I use swords. It takes practice to use swords, and you gotta know how to properly balance and weigh them. A lot of people seem to not understand this, and they come from using the easy-to-wield one-shot polearms complaining about it

I don't know what components you used for your sword, but just going off the defaults when first using the forge, the max weight for a maxed out sword is 3914g. So almost 4kg. That's ridiculously heavy. Greatswords rarely exceeded 3.5kg from what I understand

the only notable things are that they actually register that shields aren't weapons

Straight up untrue. The AI was significantly more responsive in the demo. I actually lose rounds or die occasionally in the demo. In EA I was on my 140th or something day of no deaths and almsot zero losses in submission mode.

You could see them anticipate your attacks and prepare their guard. They would back off or advance appropriately. In halfsword mode they would try to close distance and even sometimes grab you.

In EA they literally just run at you and swing.

I think the new AI is also affected by the wonky physics so half of their swings just dont connect properly either. Bad edge alignment with bladed weapons. Doesn't matter as much with blunt with the current state of blunt damage still being huge even from the haft of a weapon

Right so alt forces you to stab from a specific stance that always wants to kinda skew to one side rather than go straight, but double click lets you throw it from any stance, so while it takes some practice, you have more range of motion to stab from and you can begin to learn stances where it doesn’t skew to one side and miss

That’s how I see it at least, and I’ve had the most success that way

Only time I use alt stab is with swords, and it's to bypass guard, not stab.

Like, you can use stab to thrust your sword up their chest and leave it at their neck, then just swing towards them and back, you'll slit their throat.

Well if you're complaint is that the game is too easy thats the solution, armor does nothing to protect from blunt damage and you can 1 tap a fully armored opponent with a light hit

There's some weird flickering in the shadows on maps like Alley, the wrists are a bit cooked unless you spend hours turning your character into a roid monster, and even then they're cooked, armour doesn't work how armour should

frame gen actually hasnt been too bad on 2x but there are definitely some ugly smeary artifacts especially when looking around quickly

Switch the DLSS Override to either Preset M or L like this

settings and performance on cellar gonna do another vid on slums but i get locked 150 which isnt too surprsing for cellar

but i imagine ill get about the same on slums

Did some extra digging, DLSS M is for performance mode, DLSS L is ultra performance, so if you're looking for better FPS go with L

Ultra performance is a steep drop off

in terms of visual quality

performance mode if you can run it, cause it gets pretty potatoey on ultra performance
