for me the weirdest and most annoying thing in early access rn is how the blades forget to blade sometimes and a bit more rarely the spear tips forget to spear, I like did a chonker of a move and smashed the tip of the spear right in a willie's stomach in a spinning stab motion and it left a bruise where the tip hit. I've also had 6-7 times so far where I slashed a willie across the neck with a fairly heavy two-handed sword lightly and it just stopped on the bare neck like a pool noodle

I feel the theory is most likely false. Some teased featuers aren't here yet, or are an older version than what was teased, but I don't the build itself is older than the demo. If you give it a chance I do think the combat and overall physics has improved a lot.

I believe I figured out potentially where Gottfried's inn/our room is in relation to the rest of Frankenburg. In the intro, we see a depiction of Frankenburg and there's a building with a watermill on it by a river. While in Gottfried's inn in-game, if you free-cam and look around the room you'll see a window with a watermill right outside. I could be wrong of course, the building in the book could be any other building, it's possible there's more than one watermill in Frankenburg. I just thought it was kind of neat since the buildings are of similar size and all.

People have been begging for some form of zombie fighting in this game for a LONG time, and the devs just added a way to do it. i did change the damage settings to mess around but not to beat the gauntlet and baron but i reset the settings back to default by going into the experimental demo and going back into the demo since it resets your settings
