Could just be that u get the character selections and then you can choose a faction and whatever faction you get gives the voice or perhaps a choice of a few voices in the language

So like all the characters could technically have the same voice but also other options

You gain skill in free mode, which you apply in gauntlet to gain points

you might test it out, idk if it's just me but somehow I'm sometimes able to earn points towards gauntlet in free mode. It's only if I play free mode in the tier I'm at in gauntlet though. Sometimes even if I lose the match, like recently I was on beggar tier and had 0/3 points, went to free mode, accidentally fell out of the ring in a carnage match so I got disqualified and I checked gauntlet and I was at 2/3 points. Then I went in free mode against the tutorial dummy, knocked myself unconscious, checked gauntlet points and I had 3/3 - this isn't the first time either, it's happened a few times. This is the first time I've noticed I've gained points from losing though. Thought it was interesting

It’s a bug that I haven’t experienced personally but heard a few times, that SOMETIMES if you do a free play battle and then go to gauntlet you will have go to whatever rank you were in free play

If you mean restart all progress: out of game press windows+r to bring up the the windows run command menu, type %appdata% with the percent signs, then it should open up file explorer to appdata/roaming, you want to back out to appdata/local, look for a folder called “halfswordUE5” and delete it

If you mean get the progress you have back after you died, no. unless you manually backed it up or use mods
