The foot that's furthest back will be the one that kicks almost all of the time. When you kick, your front foot propels you forward. Just make sure you have a solid stance and that you move forward as soon as your front foot moves.

some weapons have different trajectories and weight balances so if u might wanna master a weapon than learning it as whole to get used to it

and the length of the weapon will obv affect how many rotations you will need for the buisness end of ur weapon to hit

also overhead throws have a high likely chance of smacking you in your own face so be carefulk

I turned my mouse sensitivity all the way down and it's been easier to handle my weapons, but I have a lot of trouble aiming and doing horizontal strokes. It feels like the blade turns halfway, or goes down or up and it does end up horizontal at all even when my mouse does.

... Also any tips for aiming? Plate armor guys are tough.

take some time to tune the sensitivity and see what's right for you, in terms of precise hits

turning it all the way down does give you more control, but i personally found that you need some power for hits to count

another thing is that even with low sens you gotta keep it as straight as possible, any movements left or right can move it into a different guard which is usually what throws it off. snap cuts (pulling down fast and back up fast) usually create too much flop and will easily throw off the blade as well, but this also depends on your blade balance and construction.

Typically it also tends to only be instant "kills" if the full length of the blade goes in.
Though this creates some inconsistencies when a sword is longer and wider than the small knife, but more of the sword has to go in to kill than the knife.
