im not sure about that but it definitely changes where it targets. I like to look down to go for an oblique kick which in the game can break willy's leg in as little as 2 kicks in my experience (in fist play with no armor or anything)

You should be worried more about the distancing of your kick than anything. A well distanced regular kick can be even more powerful than a really fast spin kick

Getting good spinkick has nothing to do with speed and everything to do with timing. Even if you're barely turning you can get a really good spinkick
