Idk, I kinda had to cheat on the final challlenge bc my blood and gore were fully off or else the game would crash

nothing was wrong in the end, its just janky and i need to close the selector after choosing a loadout, because only one of the 2 programs running on the prefix can read from keyboard input. just using the same version of proton that is running the game, and setting the correct prefix is enough
