Like I understand that sharp weapons are sharp, but you're telling me that after smacking a dude in the face so hard he makes Lenny from Of Mice and Men look like a genius he's still able to maintain perfect edge alignment to the point that I get punished for getting inside his guard after smacking him stupid? Once or twice, sure, unlucky. But when I can think of two different bosses who make it hell for this exact reason, it starts to get absurd.

Gore shouldn't affect the end result though. Like sure, I was being dramatic about losing limbs, but that doesn't change the fact that damage is still being taken from "strikes" that have no structure or edge alignment

And even then, that doesn't address the chief complaint - that being that when people are knocked out on their feet or start wigging out with a mortal wound that this happens more times than would just be considered unlucky. I understand that the game is supposed to have a semi-realistic damage structure, but with that in mind edge alignment and structure of form should account for more than it feels like it does at the moment. Axes are a good example of this right now. It's possible to hit someone with an axe and do blunt damage only because edge alignment was fucked up. Swords don't really feel like they have a flat side. Even if they do, in practice they feel more like lightsabers - you swing them around until you hit an unarmored section and then they take damage there

Nope. Only mod I use is OVRDTH Selector. Sometimes I use Time Controller, but that would be obvious in clips when it is used. I do use Trainer, but only to spawn in weapons and gear. I disable immediately afterward
