I was playing the itch.io version of half sword and for fun i tried to get out of the map. And after 2 days i finally did it and got to the statue area of the winter map. Then a google drive link came on screen so i downloaded it and it gave me a version of half sword ive never seen before.

First off, the visual differences.
A halberd head has a broad blade on one side, and often a kind of fluke or point on the opposite side, and a point on the top. Mess with sensitivity settings to find a level you get better control, and don't just try moving you mouse as fast as possible, instead just "follow the swing", different weapons will behave differently
At the end of the day you just have to play a lot and get a feel for it

For me, 75% in game sensitivity, and 2000 DPI is my sweet spot.
