problem with big recording files on HDD is that when using it in davinci resolve it will render very slowely, thats why I first copy it on a SSD when the file is very big

yo uset it to record say 5 mins or more constantly, then you got key binds to save the last 30 seconds, otherwise you can manually shift tab and tag on the download line what you wanna clip

Yeah I prefer OBS too for long clips, can also have it record in 2k where on steam if you run 1080 you cannot export in 2k.
(Unless you upscale to 2k your res like i do in some games anyway)
