I did it a bit of a complex way but I think there's a converter of .sav to .json on the HS nexus. I don't know how to use that but it's probably pretty straight forward, all GUI. After that you need to go into the file and edit values and stuff for colors, clothing/armor types, weapons, etc.

If you have mods you can practice, but even without it you can do it just fine. I practiced with armored opponents first, then I can do shit like this on peasants
