Gore system is just a chance based thing running probably numbers to see whether or not your weapon will dismember based on where it landed
It's purely rng based on whether or not it'll cut someone in half from a simple stab or be sliced straight through the torso and be fine
So gore functions as a second damage factor on high gore
Since even if the damage is like 0 you can still be cut in half and die

The auto parry for smaller swords does 90% of the work for you
That 10% is just you finding where to move the sword then counter attacking
But oddly on the long sword, auto parry likes to fuck it up
And it moves the sword in incredibly odd angles
I learned that you sort of have to do everything yourself if you want to parry with it

What I find with longer longswords, is that it is best when leveraging its range. If I am too close, it is harder to get the sword where I want it to be, because there isn't enough room between me and the opponent to maneuver the blade.
If you notice, in most of my clips, I am often stepping back, opening up space. It is intentional so I have more room to utilize the length of the blade.
