Also poleaxe best polearm imo, short haft variant with a beak/spike and a hooked butt-spike, it feels to me like the hammer head doesn’t deal that much more blunt damage to justify taking it over the axe head that does blunt and cut damage

Like it’ll go through gambeson and sometimes mail whether I give a lil swing or a full blown swing, where as the hammer head really differs in damage between a soft swing and a hard one
I prefer short as well, more flexible/agile with fast movements and works better with the mechanics, big one feels too heavy for Willie’s arms lol
