I have to say this, but I think that the Half Sword demo might have accidentally ended up as the greatest and most accurate medieval combat simulator ever made. The stumbling. The wild swinging. The injury and physics. The derpiness of it is all like real life. Hobbling around in full armor trying to wound or kill another person in full armor is no joke and not easily done and I've had matches that have lasted 20 minutes one vs. one. Many times knights were said to have fought until complete exhaustion took them. I'd hate to say add a more realistic stamina system as that might make it "too" realistic. But wow. My brain hasn't been able to "play" as in use my imagination really well since childhood. But in Half Sword, I'm already "pretending" I'm a real knight fighting for...whatever. Give me a platform and I'll review the game just like you've just read. Wonderful. Only getting better.
