blocking and parrying are the same thing but you can do it a few different ways, there's a few trusty ones and a few more situational ones

best thing to do is to learn mastering/dominating the ai on their own terms

you can use alt to bring your point from offline to online without any sort of unpredictable trajectory, if you're a little out of range you can use this to defend from a hit to the lower arm or hand and then morph it into a thrust
