I think it would be more successful as a dedicated MMA game. It would be the Toribash that new players would actually like and stick around to learn. No other games let you have such a control over your character's limbs like Half Sword. I think with a bit of tinkering around, it should be possible to manipulate all 4 limbs to allow rudimentary grappling moves and flashy strikes. Who knows, Half Sword may get mods that do this in the far future.
