Guys I have a theory about the economy system in the EA. Given the maps we've seen, at least a few fights won't be tournament based, like in the forest or back alleys. Meaning the only way we'd profit from them would be by getting the loot of enemies we kill. Which is why I think we'll be able to get enemy loot, either keep it or sell it to the blacksmith (which is one of the NPCs). We might even be able to make changes to the gear. Idk, that's my theory

some bits of advice

• You're not considering distance. There were quite a few moments in that video where you had huge openings to attack, but because you were using a relatively short weapon, you were just cutting into thin air because you stopped moving forward. This is particularly important against spearmen, because their effective range is a lot longer than yours. If you can close the distance against a polearm, you should try to do as much damage as possible while in range, because they basically cant hit you that close up.

• You're cutting wildly. It's much better to cut a few times in a planned spot than just hacking into them from left and right. You will deliver the strongest cuts by going at a diagonal, top left to bottom right etc. Stamina is also something to consider, attacking too much will result in getting tired and not being able to attack as strongly. Try focusing cuts on important parts of the body, spearmen will struggle to continue a fight if they cant hold their weapon properly, so cutting to their hands and arms is a solid option.

• You're not considering the length of your weapon. Some of the cuts in your video would've landed with a longsword, but the falchion you were using was too short to cover the distance. It's imporant that you dont restrict yourself to two-handing falchions and maces. Two handing these weapons is best used when you're already very close to the enemy due to the short reach, so when you're closing the distance, you should throw some swings with one hand. It will keep you safer, and due to the fact you actually have reach like this, you might end the fight before you need to use two hands.
