In free mode for example: click the tier that you want to play in (so that the default loadout for that tier appears on your character).

Then, go over to OVRDTH’s selector and double click the custom loadout you want to use.

After that, go back to the game and press play. If done correctly, you should spawn in with the custom loadout.

Sorta close I think, but it just went more up into ochs (underhaw) than horizontal to it (zwerch/twerhaw). The way I do it (rarely cause its not as applicable as irl and hard to do) is to hew from the right shoulder horizontally and hard like you did but also do a right offline springen (shift), which if done right will force a perfect left ochs rather than a diagonal one.
