I really love your game and have been enjoying it for about half a year. I noticed that while going through the ladder of levels over and over again, I start to fill the main character with personality, then with motivation to keep fighting, and eventually it grew into me imagining a complete storyline.
I know that this game will sell perfectly well at release purely because of the multiplayer, and a story isn’t really necessary. But if you ever decide to implement it in a single-player mode, here is one of the storylines that has been stuck in my head for a month now.
The main character is an unknown man who tried to kill one of the guards, but failed. He was supposed to be executed, but instead they jokingly threw him into gladiator fights with other death-row convicts, hoping for his demise. However, after killing every single one of them — especially after dismembering the first boss — the guards were horrified and wanted to execute him that very night. But the king, having learned about the deeds of the main character, forbade his execution out of a desire to test him (he saw in him a potential warrior who could fight for him).
At first, the hero is given a simple weapon, such as pitchforks, but again and again he destroys everyone in his path. With each level, the king’s servants try harder to dissuade him, seeing a danger for the entire kingdom, but the king, seeing the hero’s success, becomes obsessed with him. The king saw him as the strongest, someone with whose help entire states could be conquered, as he is literally a one-man army.

The main character’s motives are absolute cruelty, due to his mental disorder. He is silent and unpredictable, and he should literally embody the cruelty of the player, from which everyone in the game is horrified.
In the second half of the game, new details appear in the arena. Specifically, opponents will begin to recognize the main character, and one of the enemies might surrender before the fight even begins, while another might shout: “What? They didn’t tell us we would be fighting against (the player’s name that is entered at the start of the game)!” Also, in the spoilers of the game (in the finale), it should be revealed that in fact all the enemies were given rules before entering the arena:

1. Pretend to fight each other, your main target is the player.
2. If you are defeated, pretend to be dead as soon as possible, the player likes to finish off those who beg for mercy.
   Back to the story: closer to the end of the game, the king goes insane and starts sending against the hero not only criminals, enemies from other states, traitors - but even his own subordinates, up to his right hand. Left completely alone, the king realizes his madness and wishes to deal with the hero personally.
   Two endings are suggested:
   Good reputation (if the player spared most enemies) — after defeating the king, the hero becomes the new ruler, freeing the people.
   Bad reputation (if the player finished off most enemies) — a cutscene shows the hero climbing a tower and looking at a neighboring state (a hint that he wants to kill everyone there too).
   there are a lot of cliches here, but this story has firmly stuck in my mind, and now I can’t imagine your game without it.

It's a strafe glitch that makes you go really fast if you do it at the right timing

It's very hard to do but has probably better results with a higher sensitivity

It only works when you sprint btw

And I think it works when you walk both back and forward
