What i did was set my graphics to the bare minimum, Resolution down from 4K to 1080P and switched DirectX version. Not sure which of those helped, but i beat the baron fight on my very next attempt afterwards with no crashing

I would keep getting decent starts and get my hands on Good weapons and armor and inevitably i would keep crashing no matter what. it was incredibly frustrating
Thankfully i believe it should be fixed with the EA release, I saw that the issue was the assets they use for the blood/gore from unreal engine, Now they are building an entirely new system from the ground up which i'm so excited to see

Best bet is to Double click to hold your sword in front of yourself, and charge at him. Hope to impale him, Usually kills him on the spot
Alternatively, if you're still new, Take some time in Free play as commoner using the longsword
Which if you didn't know is your best choice for commoner tier

When you set your Blood/Gore, Do you set it to grotesque?
If gore is too high, it makes that stuff too easy

Also the physics have changed a lot over time and I expect them to change again with early access, who knows, it might be easier. Like from the old demo to the playtest, and from the playtest to the new demo, people have had to get used to the combat multiple times as they adjust weight/physics
