you do it right and you can counter virtually every polearm in the game as it is

Delete all files relating to Half Sword existing in your local files. Be sure to back up your screenshots folder if you took any!

Uninstall the Half Sword demo via Steam
Right click on Half Sword Demo in you steam library Manage>Uninstall

IMPORTANT

Press WIN+R then type %localappdata% hit Enter
Now Navigate to and Delete the HalfswordUE5 folder.

Finally, reinstall Half Sword Demo.

Please note Appdata is a hidden folder by default and you need to enable show hidden items in the file explorer.

and the side missions will give you some more prep

there is no thing as unlockable skills or EXP
you need to get better at the game

no pvp or any online features

singleplayer only

and the enemie AI is pretty well made

they communicate and try to trick you

they use a lot of different tactics to defeat you
and there are a lot of different enemies that have different equipment and tactics

and they work together

distract you, try to flank you, supressing fire etc

sometimes everything at once

and you are more like a hunter than an actual fighter

you can go in brute and loud
but that needs skill

Yes it’s input delay over ping which is why we’re gonna have neutral hosts in multiple regions, so if player A and B are having a fight we will find a player C to host them both so they both have equal input delay

they get random morale, taking hits that disable limbs, reduce health, or reduce consciousness lowers morale, if you get them on the ground and hold a weapon to their neck, they will lose morale almost immediately.
I do not know if they recover morale throughout the fight, or if some just have high morale.
