I’m not that good, but yeah it’s a bit of a tough one. My swords feel slow and it’s messing with my swing patterns. My swords keep clanking together and getting caught when I don’t want. Sometimes I brace it against my body but it keeps catching on the guard of the other sword or under my arm because the swing isn’t fast enough.

I’ll just go take a break and open it back up after a coffee.

See that’s why I have cross guards for… part of what I’m trying to work on is using my crescent guard a little better. I made sure both of my weapons had them. Theory is the closer their blade gets to my hand guard the easer I can throw it away.

you can compromise the knee's integrity with a slash to make it easier to shatter, you can break shoulders using winding techniques with polearms
